• A subtle, spontaneous, and fleeting drawing from the sought-after “Brücke” period.
• Great expressiveness in a small format.
• From the former collection of the Swiss textile artist and Kirchner friend Lise Gujer (1893–1967)
.

We are grateful to Prof. Dr. Dr. Gerd Presler for his kind assistance.

PROVENANCE: Lise Gujer, Davos (gift from the artist).

In good condition. The right and bottom edges of the sheet are each slightly torn in an irregular manner. Minimal mount staining and with a faint trace of sunning. A very tiny tear in the paper along the upper left edge of the sheet. A tiny ink stain on the reverse side at the bottom, visible on the front.
