Linocut from the black contour plate.
Monogrammed in the printing block. Lower margin inscribed "Schwarze Platte. im Entstehen. Farben komen noch." [sic]. On very thin wove paper. 9.7 x 14.5 cm (3.8 x 5.7 in). Sheet: 10,9 x 15,5 cm (4,2 x 6,1 in).
