Singendes Mädchen. 1907.
Woodcut.
Signed, dated and titled "- Singendes Kind -" in lower margin. Monogrammed "H" in printing block. From an edition of 11 known copies. On firm Japon. 20.5 x 15 cm (8 x 5.9 in). Sheet: 34,5 x 27,8 cm (13,7 x 10,9 in).

• Rare. So far only one other copy has been offered on the international auction market (source: artprice.com).
• Further copies can be found in, among others, the collection of the Folkwang Museum, Essen, the Staatliche Kunsthalle Karlsruhe, the Brücke Museum Berlin and the estate of Erich Heckel, Hemmenhofen.
PROVENANCE: Hermann Gerlinger Collection, Würzburg (with the collector's stamp Lugt 6032).
EXHIBITION: Schleswig-Holsteinisches Landesmuseum Schloss Gottorf, Schleswig (permanent loan from the Hermann Gerlinger Collection, 1995-2001).
