Signed and dated on the reverse of the folded canvas and signed, dated and inscribed “from the series ‘Das Körperkörper-Problem’” (The Body-Body Problem) on the reverse of the canvas. 140.5 x 170 cm (55.3 x 66.9 in).

• A striking large-scale work characterized by an impressively reduced pictorial language.
• The typical thick application of paint gives the painting a relief-like effect.
• For the psychoanalyst and artist, the examination of the human body is at the center of his creative work.
PROVENANCE: Private collection, Bavaria (since 2006, DNA - Die Neue Aktionsgalerie).
EXHIBITION: Art Cologne 2006 (with the label on the reverse of the stretcher).
In good condition. With a small spot in the center of the lower half of the image. The condition report was compiled in daylight and with the help of a UV light source to the best of our knowledge and belief.
