Signed, titled "Liebespaar I" and dated [19](16). From an edition of 40 copies. On Japan. 23.2 x 29.7 cm (9.1 x 11.6 in). Sheet: 30 x 37,5 cm (11,8 x 14,7 in).
Sheet 4 from the portfolio Gesichter. Printed by Franz Hanfstaengel, Munich. Published as the thirteenth print of the Marées Society (with blind stamp), by R. Piper & Co., Munich, 1919.

PROVENANCE: Karin & Rüdiger Volhard Collection, Bad Homburg.
