• From the 1930s onwards, Anton Stankowski was one of the early German protagonists of Constructivist-Concrete art.
• In 1964, his works were shown at documenta III in Kassel.
• Between 1969 and 1972, he was chairman of the Visual Design Committee for the Munich Olympics.
The artist particularly devoted himself to graphic design and "functional graphics" and created many brands, signs, and visual images.
• In the year the present work was made, Stankowski designed the reduced Deutsche Bank logo, among other things.
• A composition with reduced colors and an unambiguous, expressive language.

Ever since family-owned.
EXHIBITION: Anton Stankowski. Bilder und Zeichnungen, Art Club + Kunstforum, Freiburg, October 27 - November 22, 1986.

In good condition. With isolated spots of craquelure, mainly in the margins and in the light and dark blue areas. Overall with minor signs of rubbing and occasional tiny color losses. Some slight dents in the silver color area.
The condition report was compiled in daylight and with the help of a UV light source to the best of our knowledge and belief.
