• Hans Arp’s sculptures are poetic manifestations of free association.
• At times organic, at times constructivist in character, Arp’s formal language reflects the inexhaustible diversity of natural structures.
• In the year of its creation, the artist was honored with a comprehensive solo exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
• Excellent provenance: received as a gift directly from the artist and in the same family’s possession for over 50 years.
