Fussballspieler. 1998.
Bronze with gold brown patina.
Not in Lewin any longer. On the side of left arm with the monogram and the inscription "E.A." Cast by A. Zöttl, Vienna (with the doundry mark on the stand). Artist copy aside from the edition. 29 x 31 x 48 cm (11.4 x 12.2 x 18.8 in).
• To date only two copies of this bronze were offered on the international auction market (sourcee: artprice.com).
• Physical and emotional struggles are Hrdlicka's key themes.
• Alfred Hrdlicka's sculptures are in, among others, the Collection Würth, Künzelsau and the Museum für zeitgenössische Kunst Belvedere, Vienna.
