Oil on paper.
Signed and dated "14.12.1993" in the lower right. On brown packing paper. 98.5 x 68.5 cm (38.7 x 26.9 in), size of sheet. [AW].
• In 1984, Noir began painting the Berlin Wall as a spontaneous act of protest and artistic expression.
• His colorful and striking heads characterize the image of the wall on the west side and have become icons of joie de vivre.

The work is registered at the Thierry Noir studio. We would like to thank them for their kind assistance.
PROVENANCE: Private collection North Rhine-Westphalia (gifted from the artist around 1994).
