• Ottersbach alienates common visual material and poses new questions about the role of art and artists in contemporary society.
• Characterized by an extraordinary density and allure.
• Part of the major exhibition "In Erwartung der Ereignisse" at the Kunsthalle Tübingen in 2007.
• In 2009, he followed Neo Rauch as Professor of Painting and Graphic Art at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig.
