With the estate stamp (Lugt 1775b) on the reverse, as well as inscribed with the date and “Krug und Äpfeln” by another hand. With another estate stzamp underneath the mount (Lugt 1775b), inscribed “BZ 6/8” and additional inscriptions by another hand. On wove paper. 8 x 11 cm (3.1 x 4.3 in), the full sheet.

August Macke is one of the most significant German Expressionists and a member of the “Blauer Reiter”.
• The motif is closely related to his painting “Still Life with Jug, Apples, and Orange”.
• Part of the same private collection for over 50 years
.
