Im Stein signiert. From an edition of 50 copies. On thin wove paper. 66.5 x 66 cm (26.1 x 25.9 in). Sheet: 78,4 x 70,3 cm (30,7 x 27,7 in).
The artist probably based this lithograph on the painting “Klingler Quartet” from 1917 (cf. Marie-Agnes von Puttkamer, Max Oppenheimer 1885-1954. Leben und malerisches Werk, Vienna/Cologne/Weimar 1999, cat. no. 110, cover illustration and color plate 17). [EH].
