Signed and dated in the lower left corner. Signed, dated, titled, and inscribed “Berlin – Wilmersdorf 2 Homburgerstr. 2” on the reverse of the canvas. 77.5 x 47.5 cm (30.5 x 18.7 in). [AW].
• The works from the 1920s in the New Objectivity style mark the peak of Ernst Fritsch's artistic career.
• The detachment and analytical description of the subjects depicted are characteristic of his painting.
• Works by the artist can be found in the National Gallery in Berlin and the Berlinische Galerie, among others.

In good condition with beautiful colors. The outer edges of the image are rubbed. Some soiling in places. With expertly executed retouching and overpainting, more prevalent on the outer edges of the image. The condition report was prepared in daylight and with the aid of a UV light source to the best of our knowledge and belief.
