Monogrammed, dated, titled, and numbered. From an edition of 125 copies. On firm Schoellershammer cardboard. 50 x 50 cm (19.6 x 19.6 in). Sheet: 61,5 x 61,5 cm (24,2 x 24,2 in).

• From 1962 onwards, Albers developed his characteristic formal language: bright color modulation in squares.
• In his paintings and color serigraphs from the characteristic series “Homage to the Square,” Albers devoted himself to the interaction of unmixed colors, which he interwove in three to four square color fields.

In good condition. Tiny brown spots in places of the outer edges. Small crease in the upper left edge. Isolated spots of faint wear and small studio marks in the left of the image.
