• Norway celebrates Rolf Nesch as one of the country's most important artists.
• The series “Hamburger Brücken” (Hamburg Bridges) is considered a key work within Nesch's technically innovative print oeuvre, as it was the first work in his newly developed metal printing technique.
• From the Gustav Schiefler Collection.
• Nesch participated in documenta 1, II, and III (1955, 1959, 1964) in Kassel.

PROVENANCE: Collection Gustav Schiefler, Hamburg (until 1935, since in possession of the family).
