With the estate stamp signed by Guta E. Berger, the artist’s daughter, on the reverse. Here dated “1927”. 25 x 11.7 cm (9.8 x 4.6 in). [EH[.
• These female nudes reveal an unexpected fascinating side to the famous Kitzbühel painter.
• A nude from the mid-1920s, full of coloristic sensitivity.
• Alfons Walde is an icon of Tyrolean Modernism, a defining figure in 20th-century Alpine art.

In good condition. Slight rubbing on the outer edges caused by framing. Expertly executed retouching is visible here, particularly along the right edge of the image, as well as in isolated areas of the background. The lower edge of the image is slightly creased. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the aid of a UV light source, and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
