• Portraiture is an integral part of the oeuvre of this important contemporary artist, who died in 2017.
• Penck exhibited at the documenta in Kassel in 1972, 1982 and 1992, and at the Venice Biennale in 1984.

PROVENANCE: Galerie Fischer-Zöller, Düsseldorf.
Private collection, Schleswig Holstein.
