Denso. ca. 1971- 1973.

• Artistic heyday: In 1972, Calzolari participated in documenta 5.
• In 2026/2027, Galerie 21Art in Monte Carlo will present the solo exhibition “Pier Paolo Calzolari: Selected Works.”
• Works by the artist are held in the Pinault Collection, Paris; the Bavarian State Painting Collection—Collection of Modern Art at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich; and The Art Institute of Chicago.

Private collection, Southern Germany.
Private collection, Italy (since 2013, Ketterer Kunst).
LITERATURE: Ketterer Kunst, Munich, 410th Auction, Post War/Contemporary Art Part II, December 7, 2013, lot 884 (illustrated).
In good condition. Slightly wavy due to framing. Has a slight light-colored border and is slightly unevenly browned in places. A few tiny holes along the edges caused by framing. Overall, it presents a harmonious impression. Not unframed for cataloging.
