Signed and dated in the lower right. Titled in the image. On sturdy wove paper by Fidelis MBM Arches (with watermark). 75 x 108 cm (29.5 x 42.5 in), the full sheet.

• Dado combines surrealist dream logic with political allegory.
• In Germany, for example, the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf presented a solo exhibition titled “Dado. Danse Macabre” in 2012.
• Dado participated in documenta III (1964) and documenta 6 (1977) in Kassel.
• Provenance: Daniel Cordier—the gallerist and art lover donated parts of his Art Brut collection to the Centre Pompidou.

In good condition. The paper is slightly yellowed and shows a few minor signs of handling. There is a professionally reinforced tear (30 mm) along the lower left edge of the sheet, and the left outer corner of the sheet has also been professionally rebacked.
