• Magnificent, richly detailed mountain panorama with a strong sense of depth.
• During the World War, in times of repressive artistic doctrine, Erich Heckel turned increasingly to landscape watercolors, with the Carinthian mountains becoming one of his central motifs.
• Offered on the international auction market for the first time (source: artprice.com).
The work is listed in the estate of Erich Heckel, Hemmenhofen on Lake Constance. We would like to thank Ms. Renate Ebner for her kind support.

In good to very good condition. With a few faint brown spots, not noticeable in the overall appearance.
