Signed, monogrammed, and dated in the lower right. Titled in the lower left. All slightly illegible. Signed, monogrammed, and titled on the reverse. On sturdy Schoellershammer cardboard (with the blindstamp). 49 x 71 cm (19.2 x 27.9 in). Cardboard: 51 x 73 cm (20 x 28,7 in).

• Friederich Schröder Sonnenstern is one of the most significant representatives of Art Brut and Outsider Art.
• His drawings are part of renowned museum and private collections, including the Prinzhorn Collection, Heidelberg, and the Centre Pompidou, Paris.

Private collection, North Rhine-Westphalia (acquired from the above in 1989, in the family’s possession ever since).

In good condition, with vibrant colors. The outer edges of the cardboard are slightly soiled in places and show minor scuffing. There are a few areas with slight rubbing and light scratches.
