Signed, dated, titled, and inscribed with a direction arrow on the reverse. 13.4 x 16.2 cm (5.2 x 6.3 in), size of sheet. [AW].


• Günther Uecker’s watercolors were created primarily during his travels.
• In the mid-1980s, he travelled to places such as Siberia and the Gobi Desert.
• This dynamic watercolor conveys the light and atmosphere of a desert landscape.

PROVENANCE: The artist’s studio.
Private collection, Germany.
Korff Foundation, Munich.
Private collection, Austria (acquired from the above in 2017).

In good condition, with vibrant colors. Slightly browned along the outer edges of the sheet. Two tiny tears on the lower right edge of the sheet, barely noticeable.
