• Diversity and originality of forms: Croissant is one of the most outstanding German sculptors of the second half of the 20th century.
• In the family’s possession for nearly 30 years.
• Other works by the artist are held, among others, by the Städel Museum in Frankfurt am Main, the Augsburg Art Collections, and the Bavarian State Painting Collections in Munich.

In good condition. The surface has a corroded patina, since the sculpture was designed by the artist for outdoor display, the weather-related changes to the surface are to be considered intentional on the artist’s part and thus an inherent part of the work. It shows isolated, slight traces of oxidation, scuffing, and minor soiling.
