Monogrammed and dated on the reverse. 120 x 102 cm (47.2 x 40.1 in). [KA].
• Minimalist, powerful, timeless.
• Meditative abstraction of light, form, and depth.
• In 1959, he participated in documenta II in Kassel.
• In the same family collection since the year it was created.
• Works by Georg Meistermann are part of the Bavarian State Painting Collections in Munich, among others.
PROVENANCE: Private collection, North Rhine-Westphalia (acquired in 1987, Galerie Heimeshoff, Essen).
Since then in family ownership.
