Signed, dated, titled and inscribed "HCO-0042/09" and the dimensions on the reverse. 170 x 240 cm (66.9 x 94.4 in). [AW].
• Ottersbach creates impressive, photo-realistically distorted visual worlds.
• His explorations of real objects and subjective perceptions are mostly based on archival or digital image material.
• In 2009, he took over Neo Rauch's professorship for painting and graphic arts at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig.
PROVENANCE: Beck & Eggeling, Düsseldorf (with the gallery label on the reverse).
