• One of the most significant and virtuosic composers in music history is brought to life in contemporary sculpture.
• The figure deliberately combines masculine and feminine elements, as well as delicacy and strength.
• A monumental bronze sculpture of Mozart by the artist is front of St. Mark’s Church on Ursulinenplatz in Salzburg’s Old Town since 2005.
• The tactile surface, featuring indentations, incisions, roughened areas, and material growths, is absolutely characteristic of Markus Lüpertz’s sculptural works.
• Outstanding provenance.
The authenticity of this work has been verbally confirmed by the Markus Lüpertz Studio. We are grateful for the kind assistance.

Private collection, Lower Saxony.
In good condition. Isolated, slight signs of wear. The lower corners of the plinth and the hair bow on the reverse show isolated areas of material loss. Isolated, tiny studio marks or isolated spots of soiling.
