This work is documented at the Ernst Ludwig Kirchner Archive, Wichtrach/Bern. With estate stamp, Lugt 1570b, there with hand-written number "B Dre/Aa 7". On brownish wove paper. 32 x 43.3 cm (12.5 x 17 in), size of sheet.
Verso: Partie bei Dresden. Pencil drawing, around 1908. [EH].

PROVENANCE: Artist's estate (Davos 1938, Kunstmuseum Basel 1946, verso with hand-numbered estate stamp).
