Bronze, with a dark brown and green patina.
With the signature, the date and the number on the side at the bottom. Copy 2/6. Height: 164 cm (64.5 in).
• In his works, the artist deals with Greek mythology and theological themes, but leaves room for a variety of possible associations.
• Until the mid-1980s, Klinge studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart under Alfred Hrdlicka.
• In recent years, Klinge's works have been shown in exhibitions at the Angermuseum in Erfurt, the Kunsthalle Schweinfurt, the Kunsthalle Emden, and the MKM Museum Kuppersmühle in Duisburg, as well as in numerous exhibitions in national and international galleries.
Listed on the artist's official website under catalogue number P-1998-0006.
PROVENANCE: Private collection Hesse (acquired directly from the artist).
In good condition. Overall slightly soiled and with slight traces of corrosion.
