Signed. Titled and dated in the lower left. On Van Gelder Zonen paper (with the watermark). 39.5 x 50 cm (15.5 x 19.6 in). Sheet: 50,5 x 65,5 cm (19,8 x 25,7 in).
From the portfolio "Schmidt-Rottluff. 9 Holzschnitte", Kurt Wolff Verlag, Leipzig 1918, no. 18 .

PROVENANCE: Private collection Bavaria (acquired in 1966, ever since family-owned).

LITERATURE: Rosa Schapire, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff. Graphisches Werk bis 1923, Berlin 1924, no. H 218 (illu. in plate vol.).

In good condition. Sheet with unobtrusive mount staining. The upper edge with traces of browning from mounting on the reverse.
