Mappenwerk mit 12 Color photographs by Klaus Eschen, title sheet and information on the "Zerreissprobe" (folding leaflet) in the original cloth case.
Signed and numbered on the title page. Each photograph firmly mounted on a backing board, confirmed by the artist on the reverse. From an edition of 35 copies. Photographs: 50 x 40 cm (19.6 x 15.7 in). Backing board: 60 x 50 cm (23,6 x 19,6 in).
Dimensions of the original cloth case 63.5 x 51.5 x 5 cm (24.8 x 20.2 x 1.9 in).

• Günter Brus was a co-founder of Viennese Actionism.
• Photographic documentation of the famous action “Zerreissprobe” (Tensile Test) in the Munich 'Aktionsraum A1' on Waltherstraße.

• Günter Brus was a solo virtuoso body art and significantly changed the way we think about the use of the body in art.
• Works by Günter Brus were represented at documenta 4 (1972), 6 (1977) and 7 (1982), as well as in the Venice Biennale (1980), in addition to being on display in the newly-founded 'Wiener Aktionismus Museum' (WAM) in Vienna.
