Pencil drawing.
Titled and dated by a hand other than that of the artist and stamped "E.L. Kirchner Orig. Zeichnung aus Slg. Lise Gujer bei Kornfeld und Klipstein erworben durch Galerie Nierendorf bestätigt:" and signed by Florian Karsch on the reverse. On yellowish paper. 14.6 x 11.8 cm (5.7 x 4.6 in), the full sheet. • Big city scene from Kirchner's best creative period in Berlin, captured in energetic strokes.
• From the collection of the Swiss textile artist and Kirchner's friend Lise Gujer (1893-1967).
• Part of a private collection in Hamburg for almost 30 years

In good condition. Corners partially minimally bumped and with very few faint creases. Partially minimally rubbed and with very few tiny foxing spots in places at top right.
