Lot description
Studie zu Sisyphos. Um 1899.
Sanguine with pencil.
Signed in center right. Titled on the sheet underneath, probably by a hand other than that of the artist. On wove paper. 42.5 x 27 cm (16.7 x 10.6 in), the full sheet. [KA].
Accompanied by a written expert opinion by Dr. Heinrich Voss, Pappenheim, dated August 15, 1989.

Family-owned ever since.
In good condition. There is a tiny tear in the lower right corner of the sheet and a slight crease in the lower left corner. There is a fine, superficial abrasion on the lower left edge of the sheet. The edges of the sheet show minimal, faint handling marks in places.
