Signed and dated in the lower right. Inscribed "MG 835 -EDOM" on the reverse. On Fabriano wove paper (with the watermark). 46.5 x 47 cm (18.3 x 18.5 in). Sheet: 69,3 x 52,1 cm (27,16 x 20,47 in).

• Using a multitude of diagonal, intersecting lines in a single hue, Dorazio creates a fascinating, complex, and vibrant structure.
• Dorazio participates in documenta II and III.
• In 1965, Dorazio is featured alongside Morris Louis, Kenneth Noland, Bridget Riley, Frank Stella, and others in the legendary exhibition “The Responsive Eye” at the Museum of Modern Art, New York

PROVENANCE: Private collection, Frankfurt am Main (family-owned ever since).

In good condition. Barely noticeable mount staining. Tiny holes in the edges, probably caused in the studio. A few minor creases and fold marks in places.
