Oil on canvas.
Signed lower left. Signed, dated, and labeled “Norwegen” on the reverse of the stretcher. 91.5 x 60 cm (36 x 23.6 in). [AW].
Full proceeds will go to the Pohlen-Bautz-Holzherr-Foundation.
PROVENANCE: Collection of Prof. Dr. Manfred Pohlen and Dr. Margarethe Bautz-Holzherr.
In good condition. The edges of the painting are partially rubbed and show tiny areas of color loss in places. Increased craquelure in the upper left area of the painting. Partially retouched, particularly along the outer edges of the painting. The condition report was prepared in daylight and with the aid of a UV light source to the best of our knowledge and belief.
