Signed and inscribed "Mitternacht". From an edition of 40 copies. On Japan paper. 24 x 17.9 cm (9.4 x 7 in). Sheet: 30 x 23,5 cm (11,8 x 9,2 in).
Sheet 10 from the portfolio “Gesichter.” Printed by Franz Hanfstaengel, Munich. Published as the thirteenth print of the Marées Society (with blind stamp), by R. Piper & Co., Munich, 1919.

Good overall impression. The edges of the image are slightly irregular, probably inherent to the work. There are tiny creases, which are due to the material. With mount staining, somewhat irregular in places. Very isolated tiny foxmarks outside the image in placs of the edges. The lower right edge of the sheet with a small tear/damage.
