Bronze with dark browen patina.
Monogrammed and numbered on the reverse. Also monogrammed inside and with the workbook's scratched serial number “160.”. One of 5 copies. Height: 58.5 cm (23 in). [KA].
• Impressive bronze of archaic beauty.
• The “head” is one of Croissant's most important themes.
• From an important private collection in Berlin.
• Other works by the artist are represented in the Städel Museum, Frankfurt am Main, the Museum Ludwig, Cologne, and the Lehmbruck Museum, Duisburg, among others.
