Georg Baselitz is one of the most important figures in contemporary German art.
• The drawing demonstrates Baselitz’s ability to reduce complex visual ideas to elementary forms.
• Featured in the exhibition “Georg Baselitz ‘New Works’” at Galerie Michael Werner, Cologne, and depicted on the cover of the exhibition catalog.
