• The gestural, impasto-like dabs of color lend the work a distinct tactile quality.
• With his color worlds, Gonschior bridges the gap between reality and illusion.
• 1977: Participated in documenta 6 in Kasse.

PROVENANCE: Private collection, Southern Germany (since 1993, Ketterer Kunst).
In the family’s possession ever since.
