Each signed and dated in the lower left. Each on white cardboard. Each 49.8 x 9.5 cm (19.6 x 3.7 in), size of sheet. [AW].
Full proceeds will go to the Pohlen-Bautz-Holzherr-Foundation.
• The depiction of female faces and figures occupies a prominent position in Cornelia Schleime's oeuvre.
• Cornelia Schleime is considered one of the leading figures in contemporary figurative art.
• Her works are included in the collections of the Galerie Neue Meister of the Dresden State Art Collections, the Kupferstichkabinett of the Berlin State Museums, and the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, among others.
PROVENANCE: Lehr Kunstauktionen, Berlin.
Collection of Prof. Dr. Manfred Pohlen and Dr. Margarethe Bautz-Holzherr, Marburg (acquired from the above in 2017).
