Signed in the lower left. 73.5 x 94.5 cm (28.9 x 37.2 in). [AW].
• One of the few early works that testify to her turn to New Objectivity.
• Atmospheric work in harmonious colors and a compelling perspective.
• Her works are in possession of renowned museums, including the Städtische Galerie im Lenbachhaus, Munich, and the Pinakothek der Moderne.
PROVENANCE: Private collection, Vienna.
Private collection, Southern Germany (acquired from the above in 2014).

LITERATURE: Ketterer Kunst, München, auction 415, June 6, 2014, lot 65 (illu. in color on p. 62).
In good condition. Some fine craquelure. With retouched and overpainted spots, especially in the sky. Edges of the painting slightly rubbed from framing. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of a UV light source and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
