Ikarus. 1983.
Carrara-Marble.
Monogram and dated engraved on the base. Unique piece. Excl. base: 113 x 84 x 72 cm (44.4 x 33 x 28.3 in). Base: 34 x 50 cm (13,4 x 19,7 x 19,7 in).
The marble elements are fastened with metal struts. [CH].
• After studying at the Werkkunstschule in Offenbach and the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart, Dieter Wender attended Marino Marini's courses at the Brera Academy in the early 1960s.
• Today, the artist's works are part of the collections of the Museo dei Bozzetti, Arte Contemporanea in Pietrasanta and the Museo d'Arte Moderna Pagani in Castellanza.

PROVENANCE: Private collection, Rhineland-Palatinate.
