Silkscreen in colors, lithograph, linocut, hand-colored collage.
Signed, dated, and numbered. From an edition of 60 copies, each of unique character due to the hand-crafted elements. On firm T.H. Saunders and Somerset paper. 168 x 138 cm (66.1 x 54.3 in).

• Stella's oeuvre ranks among the most internationally influential positions in Post-War Modernism and Contemporary Art.
• From the significant series “Moby Dick,” inspired by the legendary novel “Moby Dick. The Whale” (1851).
• An explosion of form and color: in addition to his wall-filling reliefs, Stella also develops a space-filling aesthetic in the large-format collages of this group of works.
• Works from this series were a central part of the major Stella retrospective at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, in 2015/16.
• Stella's works are held in international collections, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Princeton Art Museum, and the Dresden State Art Collections

Private collection, Southern Germany (acquired from the above in 2005).

Large-format collage in good condition. Partially slightly bumped at the corners and edges. With isolated slight traces of rubbing and paint, possibly caused in the studio. Unframed, with writing on the reverse.
