• Stella's oeuvre ranks among the most internationally influential positions in Post-War Modernism and Contemporary Art.
• From the significant series “Moby Dick,” inspired by the legendary novel “Moby Dick. The Whale” (1851).
• An explosion of form and color: in addition to his wall-filling reliefs, Stella also develops a space-filling aesthetic in the large-format collages of this group of works.
• Works from this series were a central part of the major Stella retrospective at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, in 2015/16.
• Stella's works are held in international collections, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Princeton Art Museum, and the Dresden State Art Collections.
