Signed, dated, and labeled “No. 14” in the lower right. Also signed, dated, and marked “No. 14” on the reverse. 86 x 73.5 cm (33.8 x 28.9 in). [KA].
• Colorful, expressive, imaginative.
• Ausleger draws inspiration from the playful rigor of Synthetic Cubism.
• Rudolf Ausleger has been a member of the renowned “November” artist group since 1920.
• Part of an important private collection in Berlin for almost 50 years.
PROVENANCE: Ulrich Gronert art dealer, Berlin.
Private collection, Berlin (acquired from the above in 1977).
In good condition. Small areas of expertly executed retouching and fine craquelure. Unframed. The condition report was prepared in daylight and with the aid of a UV light source to the best of our knowledge and belief.
