Upper right signed. 60 x 40 cm (23.6 x 15.7 in). [KA].

• Spontaneous, playful imagery between abstraction and figuration.
• Radical autodidact: Gaston Chaissac is regarded as an artistic maverick between Art Brut and Modernism.

In good condition. There is some minor color loss and small traces of rust on the metal, and fine craquelure in places on the curved areas. There are tiny signs of wear and studio marks on the wood. The condition report was prepared in daylight and with the aid of a UV light source to the best of our knowledge and belief.
