Oil and sheet gold on canvas.
Signed and dated at the bottom center. Signed, titled, dated, and inscribed with a dedication on the reverse of the stretcher. 35 x 55 cm (13.7 x 21.6 in). [AW].
• Ursula Schultze-Bluhm creates colorful fantasy worlds full of surreal and poetic elements.
• A remarkable artist of the postwar avant-garde with an independent and multifaceted oeuvre.
• Participated in documenta 6 in Kassel in 1977 and the Sydney Biennale in 1979.
• A major retrospective took place at the Museum Ludwig in Cologne in 2023.
