Lot description
Thunderstorm over Paris, last bastille day before the war. 1939.
Photography. Silver gelatine proof, vintage.
Signed and dated in lower right. Once more signed, dated and titled on the revers, as well as inscribed by a hand other than that of the artist. 32.3 x 26.6 cm (12.7 x 10.4 in). Sheet: 32,7 x 27,8 cm (12,8 x 10,9 in).

LITERATURE: Villa Grisebach, Berlin, auction 216, Moderne und Zeitgenössische Photographie, November 27, 2013, lot 2022.
In good condition. With some marks (horizontal lines at the bottom of the picture and smaller lines on the left and right in the white margins). With very small faint creases in both upper corners, presumably from an old mounting. Two small, barely noticeable abrasions in the image.
