Egg and oil tempera and sheet gold on batiste.
Signed and dated in center left. 13 x 21.3 cm (5.1 x 8.3 in). [EH].
• Charming light colors in combination with accents in sheet gold.
• In the year of its creation, museums in Boston, Chicago, Detroit, New York (State) and Los Angeles (CA) showed a comprehensive retrospective of the artist's work.
• Jules Bissier was represented at documenta III in Kassel in 1964.
Accompanied by a confirmation issued by Lisbeth Bissier on October 20, 1982 (copy).
