Monogrammed and dated lower left. Dated on the reverse of the canvas, with dimensions and inscription. 160 x 200 cm (62.9 x 78.7 in). [AW].
• Large-format, masterfully reduced and colorful work by contemporary Chinese artist Wu Mingzhong.
• Through the bold use of color on otherwise calm canvases, Wu reflects the fundamental fragility of human emotion.
• He creates a sense of paradoxical juxtaposition between harshness and freshness, dictatorship and freedom, justice and conspiracy, good and evil.
Accompanied by a certificate issued by Hyung-Teh Do, Gallery Hyundai, from June 1, 2006.
