• An expressive work from the artist’s impressive late period.
• Part of a major private collection for 25 years.
• Works by Emil Schumacher are held in the collections of the Hamburger Kunsthalle and the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, among others.

The work is listed under inventory number “0/2.355” in the archive of the Emil Schumacher Foundation, Hagen, established by Dr. Ulrich Schumacher.

PROVENANCE: Artist’s estate.
Private collection, Germany (acquired from the above in 2001).
