• In the years 1943 to 1946, the city of Salzburg and the surrounding area became the artist's hometown and source of inspiataion.
• His works are in renowned collections, among them the Städel Museum, Frankfurt a. Main, the Bavarian State Painting Collections, Munich, and the Museum Folkwang, Essen.

In good condition. Margins slightly irregular in places. Center of the upper margin with a superficial blemish and with isolated cracks in the surface of the painting board in the upper left and lower right corner. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of an ultraviolet light and to the best of our knowledge.
